This years conference aims to continue the tradition of providing a world-leading and unique opportunity for bringing together researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplines, that seek the understanding of the fundamental principles and design strategies in biological systems and leverage those understandings to build bio-inspired systems. The sixth occurence of the Bionetics conference series will be held in the city of York, England, which combines a colourful history of Roman and Viking rule with modern science and research developments.
Bionetics 2011 is sponsored by ICST, CREATE-NET and EAI, and will feature state-of-the-art keynote speeches, technical session, focussed special tracks, workshops and demo/poster sessions, along with entertaining social functions.
