The Andalusia Centre of Innovation, Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) is a Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT). It is situated in the Technological Park of Andalusia in Málaga and was founded in March 2002 as a non-profit private foundation.
 
CITIC represents 38 leading enterprises, active in the area of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Andalusia.

Since the foundation until the present, CITIC has obtained different acknowledgements that started at a local level and little by little have reached the national and international level.

It started working as a CIT at a regional level, however, due to the evolution in ICT it has made its way to the national level, forming part of the Network of Innovation and Technology Centers of the former Ministry of Education and Science in Spain. In this framework the aim is the projection of Research and Development (R&D) on to the business area, through technology transfer. CITIC is reinforced in this position and strategy by its qualification as a Transfer Technology and Investigation Office (OTRI 205). Moreover it has obtained a qualification as an Agent of Knowledge, granted by the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Enterprises of the Counsel of Andalusia, which nowadays is an entity associated to the Network of Technological Spaces of Andalusia (RETA).
