The Andalusian Centre of Innovation and Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) is constantly improving through the application of a policy called R&D, Quality and Environment. This policy is oriented towards the satisfaction of the clients and the persons that work in the organization and to the protection of the environment.

The direction of the Centre has made a commitment to this policy and stimulates further development, enforcement and maintenance and demands and controls the compliance to it, in order to obtain the highest satisfaction of the beneficiaries. In this framework CITIC has developed an Integrated System for Quality Management, R&D and Environment according to the standards UNE 9001:2008, UNE 166002:2006 and UNE 14001:2004 respectively, and it obtained a formal Certification on 7 November 2008. This Management System is used for the development and management of R&D proposals, for the design and development of R&D projects and for transfer of technology in the area of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the main activities of CITIC.

The personnel and collaborators of CITIC, each from their different responsibilities, have the obligation to apply and contribute to the efficiency and continuous improvement of the management system.

This recognition granted by the certifying agency AENOR, is another step towards the excellence of management in our Technological Centre. We will be working daily on the renovation and amplification of our certifications, with presently an annual revision.
